Our Executive Board
The Toronto Artistic Swimming Club, formerly known as Toronto Synchronized Swimming Club or Toronto Synchro, is a registered not-for-profit corporation that is governed by a volunteer board, paid staff and coaches. The club relies on parent and Master swimmer volunteers for running events and fundraising throughout the season.
Club operations are managed by our administrators: Kathryn and Tracey.

Ogi Govedarica Bursary
Supporting our Swimmers
The Toronto Artistic Swimming Club is proud to offer a bursary fund for competitive and novice competitive families who require financial assistance with club fees. The fund is named in honour of Ogi Govedarica, the mother of a former Toronto Synchro swimmer, who passed away in 2014.
The fund offers assistance for up to 30% of swimmer’s team fees. Applications are available to registered competitive and novice families in September and bursary recipients will be notified within four weeks of the deadline. Applications are reviewed, in confidence, by the President, Vice-President and Treasurer of the club and their recommendations are voted on by the Board in October. At all times, financial and personal information are kept confidential.
Since its inception in 2015, the bursary has been able to support on average 6 families per year, with a total payout of over $20,000 in the past 5 years. Funds for the bursary are obtained through the club’s fundraising efforts, such as the annual silent auction and other initiatives.
It is the club’s hope that this bursary means that no athlete must be turned away if their interest and motivation is high.
