Competitive

Our Competitive Program
Our Club offers a full competitive program for swimmers aged 7 to 18 years of age, offering excellent coaching, a variety of pool locations and our club’s strong team spirit and sense of community. The majority of our Competitive athletes keep training with us through high school and many become coaches along the way. This program is ideal for the swimmer of ANY AGE who wants to LEARN FASTER, DEVELOP FURTHER, and CREATE LASTING FRIENDSHIPS.
Teams compete primarily at the provincial level, usually participating in 3 – 6 meets per year, depending on the age and team. Very experienced athletes on more developed teams may also compete on HP teams at the National level in a variety of provinces should there be sufficient interest and coaching.
Competitive athletes have opportunities for extra training as well as extra routines (solo, duet, combo/acrobatic and other teams).
We offer a full range of teams, based on average ‘synchro age’ (age at Dec 31, 2026), including:
- 10/under (born in 2016 or later): developmental and experienced
- 11/12 (born in 2014 or 2015): developmental and experienced
- 13-15 (born in 2011-2013): experienced and HP (depending on interest/assessment)
- Junior/Senior (born in 2010 or earlier): experienced and HP (depending on interest/assesssment)
Note: swimmers may be placed on teams with swimmers either slightly younger or older, depending on coach assessment

2025-2026 Registration Process
How to Register:
- Complete the 2025-2026 Expression of Interest Survey and sign up for a Swimmer Assessment which are scheduled to take place in early June. Once all assessments are complete and before the end of June, the TASC Leadership Team will determine teams. To confirm spots, swimmers will register online and be asked to pay the $500 Swimmer Deposit.
- After teams are confirmed, applicable swimmers will also receive invitations and registration instructions for extra routines.
- Families will receive regular updates through the summer, including notice of September start up events. Families will also receive information on how to complete the mandatory OAS/CAS registration and pay the applicable fee. 2025/6 fees to be confirmed by OAS
- The season will start on Friday, Sept 5th-Sunday Sept 7th with our Welcome Back Weekend!
- Team fees will be payable in monthly instalments once final swimmer numbers are known. Sibling discounts and the TASC Club Bursary are available. Please inquire at club@torontoartisticswimming.com for more details. As a Registered Not-for Profit, fees cover team coaching, supervisory coaching, lifeguard, pool and other facility costs, and other club admin expenses. The volunteer TASC Board works very hard to keep fees as low as possible, despite rising costs for facilities, etc.
NOTE: A limited number of spots MAY be available on Competitive teams after the initial assessment phase. If you miss the assessments but remain interested, please reach out to the club email to inquire about availability.
